Selina Manarik

Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist

Selina has been a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Hearing Associates, Inc. since 2016. Selina now resides in Winthrop Harbor with her family and her pup Luna.

During her free time, you may find her exploring a new city or taking Luna for an extra-long walk. She is also a sci-fi/fantasy enthusiast.

She grew up in Wisconsin and received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Over the years, Selina has developed many friendships with our patients and looks forward to seeing them at their biannual checks. Her thoughtfulness and caring nature are always on display for each patient she sees. When you see her, be sure to ask her about her favorite Twilight Zone episode!

Jenny

Jenny Diaz

Audiology Assistant

Jenny joined Hearing Associates, Inc. in 2023, as an Audiology Assistant. She grew up in Lake County and still resides in the area with her family.

When she is out of the office, Jenny spends her time outdoors and enjoys trying new cuisines. She recently learned how to make the Peruvian dish Lomo Saltado. When the weather allows she likes to explore the hiking trails around Lake County.
Jenny has always had a passion for serving others. Prior to joining Hearing Associates, Inc., she worked as a Patient Care Technician at Lake Forest Hospital.

Since joining our staff, Jenny has enjoyed meeting our patients and working with them to manage their devices. Next time you’re in the mood to try something new to eat, ask Jenny for her recommendations.

Andrea Helms

Operations Manager
Andrea joined Hearing Associates, Inc. as Operations Manager in 2019. Originally from Seattle, she relocated to Beach Park over 15 years ago. Andrea finds joy in educating the community about the long-term health benefits of better hearing and how it can significantly enhance the quality of life for patients. She is passionate about helping individuals rediscover the life-changing ability to hear better, especially the priceless sounds of small children—something particularly close to her heart as a new grandparent. Andrea and her partner Shane cherish their time with their granddaughter, Mia, and are delighted by the little sounds she makes. On weekends, Andrea and Shane enjoy taking their three dogs—a mini-Rottweiler, a Siberian Husky, and a Shar Pei Beagle mix—on long walks. When she’s not walking the dogs, Andrea loves playing with Mia and soaking in the joys of grandparenthood. Next time you see her, be sure to share your best grandparent moment!

Front Office Manager & Insurance Specialist

Brittney has worked as a Patient Care Coordinator with Hearing Associates, Inc. since 2018. She grew up in Lake County and currently lives in Grayslake with her family.

In her free time, Brittney likes building Legos and going fishing with her son, Cameron. Brittney also loves spending time outdoors when the weather is nice.

Brittney has always had a strong interest in the medical field, and she previously worked as a medical assistant.

Since joining Hearing Associates, she has found a new interest in serving our community members with hearing loss. She can’t wait to see you when you come in next! When you see her, please share your favorite fishing spots.

Front Office Manager

Angeline joined the Hearing Associates team in 2024 with the acquisition of Audibel Hearing Aid Center.

She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the hearing care space and has been in the medical field since 2012.

Originally from the Philippines, Angeline came to the Gurnee area at age 10 and currently lives in Grayslake with her family.

On the weekends you can find Angeline baking custom cakes and cookies! She is a self proclaimed “foodie” and loves trying out new recipes, exploring different types of foods from different cultures, and having her friends and family taste test them.

Angeline has always had a passion for helping others and it shows! Next time you see her, be sure to ask to see some of her amazing baked creations.

Marisol has worked with Hearing Associates as a patient care coordinator since 2022, She grew up in Waukegan and currently a resident of Gurnee with her husband and three children.

In her free time, Marisol likes to spend time with her family. When the weather is nice, you can often find her taking long walks or bike riding with her kids or on an adventure to the science museum in the city.
Marisol has always had a passion for working in the medical field and she previously worked as a medical assistant.

Since joining Hearing Associates, she has steered her passion in healthcare towards hearing health care and helping people hear their best. Be sure to tell Marisol about your favorite walking and biking trails when you see her.

Katherine joined Hearing Associates, Inc June of 2025. She grew up in the Lake County area and still resides in the area with her daughter.

In her free time, Katherine thrives in outdoor gatherings with family and friends, where her outgoing nature truly shines. She enjoys meeting new people and effortlessly connects with others in social settings. These interactions not only bring her joy but also help her cultivate a broad sphere of influence, enriching both her personal and professional life.

Katherine has always felt at home most in roles that allow her to connect with others on a personal level. Before joining Hearing Associates, she worked as a senior recruiter, where she discovered her passion for helping people find opportunities that fit their lives and goals.

She finds deep meaning in her work by witnessing the powerful impact that better hearing has on her patients, especially when it helps them communicate more easily with their loved ones. For Katherine, those moments of connection are what make her role truly rewarding. Be sure to share your favorite outdoor moment with Katherine—she’d love to hear it!
